Work Party – Saturday 2nd May 2026

Our recent work party was a great success, with plenty of progress made across the site and a fantastic team effort from everyone involved.

The day started early with Tad and Marcin heading to B&Q to collect turf and grass seed. As soon as they returned, everyone got straight to work.

A big thank you to Alan, Chris, Elaine, Marcin, Clare, Lyn, Norman, Leigh and Paul for their hard work and support.

Together we completed a range of tasks, including turfing pathways, assisting on Plot 4, relaying slabs on plot 34A, and tidying the social area and flower beds.

We finished the day with a relaxed BBQ, where both volunteers and family members who joined later came together to enjoy the evening. Although the rain cut things a little short, it was a really enjoyable and rewarding day for everyone involved.
